Gobeze Dessalegn is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in accounting, audit, training, and consultancy. Currently, he leads the Learning Solutions Department at HST, shaping the development of future generations of financial professionals.

Gobeze's dedication to knowledge sharing is evident throughout his career. As a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), he has provided extensive training programs on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) to diverse clients. He has also served as a staff learning manager and developed training manuals for various organizations. He also taught several courses at the former Addis Ababa Commercial College and Addis Ababa University and provided tutorial classes to ACCA students on many ACCA courses.

Gobeze's expertise extends beyond training. He has held leadership positions in audit and consulting firms, managing teams and delivering high-quality services to a wide range of clients, including national and multinational businesses, NGOs, and non-profit organizations. His experience encompasses internal and external audits, accountancy, and consultancy services.

Gobeze actively contributes to the Ethiopian business landscape. He is a strong advocate for professional development and has held leadership roles within organizations like the Association of External Auditors (AEA) and the Chartered Accountants Students Society in Ethiopia (CASSIE). He also served on the Discipline and Ethics Committee with the Office of Federal Auditor General.

Gobeze is fluent in English, Amharic, and Oromiffa, demonstrating his ability to connect with diverse audiences. His work experience in Ethiopia positions him with a strong understanding of the local market while maintaining a global perspective through his association with international accounting and auditing standards.
